Sonic Boom
Balassario is the don of an intergalactic mafia that gathers treasures from all over the universe. He has robbed Saturn of its famous Silver Amethyst, which has peaked the ire of Queen Michelle of Saturn. His next mission is to collect 5 artifacts from Earth. SPD has been sent on a mission to stop him but Michelle has her own team and is determined to handle Balassario without SPD's assistance.
Not only will each team have Balassario and his gang to contend with but they will come up against each other as they each try to stop him with their own methods.

Michelle wants to be done with the power but
when an intergalactic threatens Earth and Saturn she has no choice but to activate the powers she and her husband Rocky have been holding on to. She once again becomes the Purple Ranger and sets out to train a new team.
When she finds SPD is after the same thief she is determined to prove there is no place for regulation in saving the world.
Michelle is still a singer and actress and is married to her high school sweetheart, Rocky. Together they have a daughter, 7-year-old Harley. Secretly Michelle also has a boyfriend as she has reunited with her first love. Jon, behind the backs of both their spouses.

Rory is a senior at Angel Grove High and the Captain of the AGH Hockey team. He’s a black belt and is one of the top students at Blue Dragon dojo. He lives with his parents and little sister. On the surface, he appears to live a perfect all American life, but inside he harbors a secret that weighs on him.

Brielle is a senior at Angel Grove High and part of the AGH theater. She loves to act and sing. She also loves her martial arts training at Blue Dragon, where she is a black belt. She idolizes Michelle and thinks of her as everything she wants to grow up to be. She lives with her parents and is an only child. She is very independent and does what she wants regardless of what others think.

Peyton is a senior at Angel Grove High and is on the football team. He is also openly gay which leads to a fair amount of conflict with his team mates. Fortunately, he is an amazing quarterback and that fact saves him much of the time. He is very friendly and outgoing, in spite of the bullying he endures. He is a black belt student at Blue Dragon dojo and lives with his parents and little brother.

Finn is a junior at Angel Grove High and is vice president of the student council. He is a black belt and is very devoted to his training at Blue Dragon. He lives with his mom and 2 sisters, of which he is the middle
child. He is a little shy and often feels overlooked but he is a very loyal and funny friend once you get to know him.

Age: 7
Harley's parents are Michelle and Rocky DeSantos. Although she comes from a legacy of power her parents have opted not to tell her about it, hoping she will have a normal childhood. She attends Angel Grove Elementary and is best friends with Melody Grayson, the daughter of Dana and Carter Grayson, and friends with the children of many other veteran Rangers. Harley is an extreme tomboy who loves to play hockey, ride motocross, and practice martial arts. He favorite hockey team is the LA Kings and her favorite motocross rider is her mom's friend Hunter Bradley. Harley is a typical kid, unaware of how atypical her life really is.

Rocky is the former Red Ranger and Blue Zeo Ranger. He is Michelle's husband and owns the Blue Dragon dojo alongside Adam Park.
Although retired from Rangering he and his wife managed to acquire powers for a team if they were ever needed. When he and Michelle determined the powers we needed he picked his best students and mentors them while Michelle trains them.
He is very happily married to Michelle, although he does hate the spotlight her career brings. He does his best to keep their daughter Harley away from it.

Charlotte "Charlie" Lopez
Age: 19
Charlie is the top cadet at the SPD
Earth Academy and is the leader of the A-Squad.
She is very focused and will do anything to
make sure her team is the best. She recently
lost her Yellow Ranger and her Blue Ranger is
on a leave of absence, leaving her with a 3
person team. Charlie is determined to continue
to be the best in spite of this. She doesn't have
much of a life outside of SPD but she does enjoy
jazz music, although usually in secret.

Clifford "Cliff" Williams
Age: 20
Cliff has been training at SPD with Charlie for many years and considers her his best friend. He would follow her to the ends of the universe. During the absence of his teammate Beevor, he has been elevated to rank "2" and is second in command as opposed to his previous rank of "3".
Outside of training, Cliff loves to have fun. He is constantly trying to get Charlie to go to dance clubs with him, usually, it's a futile effort.

Rachel Li
Age:18
Rachel is the newest addition to A-Squad but has been training at SPD for years. She is extremely smart but also a little shy. She admires Charlie and her confidence, which she wishes she possessed. During the absence of teammate Beevor, she has been elevated to "3" as opposed to her normal rank of "5".
Outside of the Academy Rachel enjoys being around animals. She often volunteers at New Tech Animal Shelter in her spare time.

Ivan Parker
Age: 20
Ivan is a newcomer from SPD Mirioi where he was one of the top cadets, but his tendency to take shortcuts risked his future. Rather than kicking him out Supreme Commander Birdie sent him to Earth for a special project on a trial basis to test the power of SPD Gold.
Ivan is a suave, smooth talker that is not above lying to get his way. He is always striving to be the best and although his team is important to him he also tends to look out for number 1 above all else.

Beevor Lanilor
Beevor is a member of the A-Squad that has taken a leave of absence to return to his home planet. After suffering a civil war it is in the process of rebuilding and Beevor wanted to offer his assistance. He keeps in contact with his teammates and offers advice when needed.
Beevor came to Earth to join SPD when he was 14 and quickly bonded with Charlie as she is the only one that judged him for his skill and not his species at first. Over time he made more
friends and has come to see the A-Squad as family. He is shy at first due to the bullying he first endured on Earth. Once he opens up he is a very caring and loyal friend.
